Monkey’s first race

Team Run Little Monkey has been in training all winter and over the Easter weekend participated in our first race in Toronto. It was a great day that started off with a gaggle of enthusiastic kids running a 1K race along the boardwalk in the Beaches.

That was followed up by the Beaches Running Club’s inaugral Easter 5K. While our running monkey couldn’t quite beat the winners who came in with some lightening fast times in the 16-minute range, there was much jubilation at the finish line.
