Coming out!

We're excited to have our first booth at a running expo this weekend. It's the first time Toronto is hosting a Divas Half Marathon and 5K and Run Little Monkey is going to be there at the health and fitness boutique taking place at the Westin Harbour Castle hotel. We'll be up by race pickup in the 2nd floor ballroom. The Divas team has faced some challenges in their first year. The original plan was to hold the races on Toronto Island, a wonderfully scenic and flat course. Unfortunately high water levels in Lake Ontario and the ensuing closure of the park on the islands forced a relocation of the race. It'll still be held on the shores of Lake Ontario but this time along the trails near Cherry Beach and then on to the Leslie Street Spit. There'll be water on all sides and it's still going to be pretty darn flat! Come visit us at the expo and get yourself into some amazingly soft Monkey Gear for the race (it's got some great UPF in the fabric to protect from the sunny weather, not to mention we have some great caps to keep the sun from burning your head while also keeping you cool.) You'll save the taxes (and shipping!) if you buy at the expo. Admission is free and everyone (not just runners) are welcome. Remember, a portion of every sale of our Monkey Gear goes to support girls sports programs. So c'mon down and visit us.
